How come? Which image?
@sinovoip 19-11-03-ubuntu-19.10-mate-desktop-grub-preview-bpi-m3-sd-emmc.img only has support for :-
under the bananapi subdirectory on the BOOT partition
But no bpi-m3 !
And? Why don’t you rather use far better OS?
For my purposes I want debian really.
@sinovoip 2019-11-03-debian-10-buster-lite-grub-preview-bpi-m3-sd-emmc.img just has :-
as well
But no bpi-m3 !
Please tell me whether support for built-in sound will be added to this image. I have two banana boards bpi-m3. I’m interested in the sound working on these boards, but more importantly, webcams are supported. I use the ubuntu image
Where to send a bill for R&D, communication and support? Then I will hire someone which will fix this and tell you that.
And how much will it cost ? In ubuntu version 16.04 for some reason there is no support for web cameras, but in this version there is a module for supporting web cameras?
There is also no support for all A83t functions in Armbian, for example, there is no support for built-in sound … is it possible to somehow fix this?
On Ubuntu that sound card works perfectly! Actually there are two sound cards - one analog TS/ Jack and another from HDMI. I would love to having fix for that
Does support for embedded sound need a fixed image or is it enough that is placed at the beginning of the topic?
In addition, it would be interesting to have webcams connected by usb?
I tried this new image of ubuntu but it does not see any sound device … what is required for this version of ubuntu to recognize the built-in sound card?
Unfortunately I do not how to do it - probably you have to write down your our driver for that. Maybe there is some driver in deprecated Bananian Linux https://www.bananian.org/
Are there image Raspbian Buster and Hassio.io with desktop for my Banana Pi M3 with A83T chip ? is there some guide for build it? thanks
Raspbian for anything but Rpi just looks like Raspbian.
is there some guide for build it?
I would recommend you to start here: https://docs.armbian.com/Developer-Guide_Build-Preparation/ … or just download https://dl.armbian.com/bananapim3/
