Writing to eMMC - is it possible to unbrick a board

Hi,

I have not done this but …

Is there anyway that if eMMC gets a bad config in the uEnv.txt or its code and bricks the board that the board can be unbricked ?

I am preparing to do a eMMC write at some point soon. I have both M3 and R2 boards.

What does the uBoot button do ? Does this have a predetermined function or is this accessible from the uEnv.txt script in anyway ?

Imho you can’t brick the board because it is only a bootmedium not a firmware/bios. If emmc is not bootable you can boot with sdcard and correct errors. I don’t know anything about uboot-button
