Trying to resurrect an old BPI M2 Ultra w/ R40

It has been a few years since I have used this board. After dusting it off, I was trying to install an OS to it via SD, but I must have forgotten something. I think I have an OS installed on the EMMC and I can’t get it to boot from the microSD to install something new. Is there a way to erase the EMMC or choose the microSD as the boot device? Thanks!

Yes, I stupidly forgot the fundamental details. Extract a zip to img. I was able to install Ubuntu Mate, except it was in Tawainese. LOL I will have to reeducate myself.
