RPI.GPIO installation failed

Dear community, Im tryin to install RPI.GPIO Python Module, but i always get the same error:

collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status error: command ‘/usr/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc’ failed with exit code 1

I have the Banana Pi M2 Berry and running Armbian with kernel: 6.1.63-current-sunxi Thats the libary i want to install.

Please answere as soon as possible

do i need python2 for compiling / installing the python package/module?
