OS Images and sound cards

Hi all,

I’m fairly new to the Banana Pi M2. I’ve created an application which requires a sound card. However when i ‘cat /proc/asound/cards’ it says there is no sound card. It also says this when i run ‘aplay -l’

I’ve tried a couple of images (Raspbian, Ubuntu, Debian) all having this same problem. I’m close to returing my 4 banana pi M2’s, i’ve lost 2 days so far.

Please help.

Try armbian the software here sucks as support
