Does anybody have any benchmarks for doing NAT with a minimal number of iptable rules? I’d like a small box that could do close to line rate but I suspect this guy would be underpowered. I’m sure the switch port can switch at line rate with the broadcom swith chip. But I’m more concerned with lan to wan performance.
Did you find some information about NAT performances ? I have a 1Gbits/s fiber connexion and I wander if the BPI-R1 can’t NAT gigabits connexions.
That comment (in french) is not good : http://www.ldlc.com/comment/c4293/p201508130209/banana-pi-r1/#PC01122022
Neither than that Wifi test : http://projectbananapi.blogspot.fr/2015/04/banana-pi-opensource-router-r1-overview.html
Well I don’t know real performance of NAT yet because of this OpenWRT slow throughput WAN but in LAN I can get max 320 Mbps, not what I expected.
