Can't get any image to boot

BPI-M2+/BPI-M2 Zero/BPI-P2 Zero

This is my first time using banana pi. I picked up a BPI M2 Zero (Allwinner H3 chip) to replace a raspberry pi zero.

I can’t get any image I load onto the sd card to boot past the startup screen, some images don’t even make it that far. I tried the latest available images I could find for:

  • Armbian desktop
  • Raspbian
  • RetrorangePi
  • Libre

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you :slight_smile:

Which software do you use to write the image to sdcard? I prefere blenaEtcher

I’ve been using balenaEtcher to write the images to sd card. Also been formating the sd card before writing each image to test on the BPI-m2 zero
