Can you build a custom OS in BPI-M2 Zero H3

I have a project that it will work on BPI-M2 Zero H3 but it needs a custom OS to work on it, ive searched alot about any informationa about building custom OS on Banana Pi or is there any preperation before making it, like flashing connections or some code specification in RAM or CPU or vRAMs, and I don’t want to make AOSP on it, I want to build on it a custom linux OS.

Yes, it can build anything. Many vendors are using this build system too. https://github.com/armbian/build/tree/main/config/boards Why don’t you try? I think this is exactly what you are looking for.
