BPI-M4 Zero No Listed Wi-Fi

Hi,

I have read the post from Nov 2024… However, this does not resolve my issue.

Our project requires Android as the OS.

Using the Android image from your getting started page (2024-11-08-bananapi-m4zero-android12.zip), there are no WiFi access points listed… the process just keeps searching with no timeout.

Tried re-downloading the OS Image again and re-flashed, but still the same…

I’ve tried several antennas, all apparently compatible and work with other devices.

The Bluetooth is working OK, but no Wi-Fi??

If the Image is good and Bluetooth is working, is this likely a faulty SBC?

Previously, we used a quantity of tinkerboards for a similar project running bespoke apps on Android… however, we want to use a smaller SBC and the M4 Zero looks ideal… any help would be appreciated.

Regards…

Update…

It’s not a faulty board, as the wifi works well under Linux.

Hello, could you please tell me the model of the WiFi module on your M4zero? Is it K016 or K019? And is it configured with 2GB DDR or 4GB DDR?

Hi there…

Its K016 (K016-CW43-SW) and 2GB DDR

Regards…

Okay, I’ve already submitted my feedback to BPI. I expect to get a result soon.
