dear sir: BPI-M3 not real sata interface, it use USB to SATA, so it real is use USB to boot. it can support.

It can boot from SATA, but it doesn’t make sense. The eMMC storage on board is much faster. Just search the M3-Forum for SATA - you are not the first with exactly this question :blush:
