It’s actually Debian, and we have found it in more Pis, they could be working for a random period of time and then stop detecting any usb devices plugged to them.
This is what I get when I list the usb devices on a working one.
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 2109:0817 VIA Labs, Inc. USB3.0 Hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 1452:8b01 Dai Nippon Printing, Inc DS620
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 2109:2817 VIA Labs, Inc. USB2.0 Hub
This is what I get when it doesn't work anymore.
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Those are bare minimum requirements. Symptoms usually tells nothing so nobody can help. If you are lucky, someone will look into (full) logs, if provided, if you hit jackpot, that person will understand anomaly already from that. If you don’t have any luck, research will be needed and for that a lot more resources and your cooperation is needed.
I’m having the same issue with four of my brand-new Banana Pi M2 Zeros. No USB devices, such as keyboards or mice, are detected at all when plugged straight into the USB port. I tried Bookworm and Jammy releases.
