BPI-R4 back and wifi7 seatsink
I guess this does not fit into the metal case.
Nice - I used a normal heatsink, but this one has screws ![]()
Now the usual question: Where can I buy this? Could not find it on Aliexpress yet?
Nice heatsink, really nice solution, but what about connecting the heatsink to the bottom plate of the case? Because the heatsink is upside down oriented and there is not any fan, cooling is not efficient as it could be. I think, that we still need the heat get out from the case somehow.
If you’re talking about the official CNC case, I have two MOD ideas:
- open a heat-sink shaped hole at the bottom. Place your CNC case upside down and move the rubber feet accordingly. Or keep the original top-bottom design, rase the bottom with taller rubber feet. Or,
- trim the new heat-sink to fit into the existing limit of space. Less efficient but might still be workable thermally
I wonder if the new heat-sink will help to lower noise-floor of the BE14. @Betonmischer
