Banana PI BPI-M2 Ultra is the open source hardware platform, Banana PI BPI-M2 Ultra is a quad-core cortex -A7 CPU ,use Allwinner R40 design, it support WIFI+BT on board.and support SATA interface on board.

Banana Pi BPI-M2 Ultra series run Android, Debian linux, Ubuntu linux,Raspbian system and other OS.

Banana PI BPI-M2 Ultra with Gigabit Ethernet port, It can run Android smoothly. The size of Banana PI BPI-M2 Ultra same as Banana Pi BPI-M64, support 1080P video, the 40 pin GPIO header is pin-compatible with Raspberry Pi.

The new BPI-M2 Ultra is a tiny little computer with great big ambitions. The expandable single-board device runs either Linux or Android and features impressive specs that outshine comparable products by a substantial margin. When will you release schematics? Care to answer?

  • Where is the 3rd USB host port?
  • How is ‘SATA Power’ wired? From PMIC or directly from DC? Is a connected disk powered when running on battery or not?

I’ve been looking around for android, and raspbian images for the M2 ultra, but I haven’t found anything. Are they still being worked on, or is there somewhere I can get them?

Any idea where to find a case for the BPI-M2U?

I’ve been looking in the UK (Amazon, eBay) and across the US and I can’t find a case that specifically mentions the M2U.

Or should the M2U board be compatible with any of the other boards in terms of fitting in a case? Cases for the original Banana Pi don’t quite fit.

Suggestions please!
