Android 4.4 v4.1 not booting

I just burned Android 4.4. v4.1 on a microSD card using PhoenixCard.

When I insert the SD card and power up the M2, it doesn’t boot. The LED is stuck at red.

I think I have tried all links on the top page of Google search results for “Banana Pi M2 not booting”. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Details:

  1. Power supply: 5V, 2A via the barrel type connector (not micro USB)
  2. 8 GB SD card
  3. I have used the Android image for HDMI output

Is the screen just blank?

Yes, it was. Now it’s working. Thanks, anyway.

I connected to the serial console and realised it was getting stuck midway because of “bad magic” or something.
