Is there any cooperation with Mediatek? I am doing wireless mesh network over the city of berlin to give everyone free internet access. However, we have to use ubiquiti or mikrotik devices for long ptp links. They have a special tdma mode, to maximize throughput over long distance links.
I know that ath10k (qualcomm) has qboost feature, but I don’t know anyone using it. Is there any cooperation, that we can ask mediatek to open firmware, or implement hooks in firmware that we can use to also implement something like this in the free mt76 driver? Also setting cca thresholds differently, … Is there any plans to put a MT7622 into an outdoor device?
