What do the boot switches mean?

What do the f****** switches mean? What is they trigger for ? And how do I use them? I can’t find any information about that. Can someone help me?

Boot selection switch?

Hello, The BPI-F3 has a physical switch SW1 (covered with a transparent sticker). Initially all the switches are off (moved into the microSD card direction). What are the switches used for? I could find only documentation for BPI-R3 which seems to have different settings.
