Slot Sim card with modules

Hi, after read documentation i can see Slot sim1 its for Modules: Quectel EM05, RM500U-CN ,RM500Q-GL& RM520N-GL Slot sim2/3 its for Modules: Quectel EC25

does 4G/5G can work if i use wrong SIM slot for other module? for example if i have module RM520N-GL and insert nanoSim to slot 2

Each sim slot is dedicated to a different bay. I wish this weren’t the case but it is.

does anyone know if it can be change in config files or in code? i mean replace SIM slot 2 for other module?

no,each sim slot is dedicated to a different bay,Cannot be modified in software.

CN16(M.2 KEY) – SIM1

CN12 (mPCIE) – SIM2

CN14 (mPCIE) – SIM3

I’m having trouble getting my Quectel RM520N-GL module to work with my Banana Pi BPI-R4. I’ve tried various OpenWRT versions.
