Thank you Dear friend @frank-w … Really It will be great thing for BPI users

Here Quectel LTE&5G QFirehose (Linux&Android User Guide) I uploded it on github

or from Quectel form https://www.quectel.com/download/lte5g_qfirehose_linuxandroid_v1-2-zip/

Previously people were using QFirehose to flash / upgrade their modem on OpenWRT device

Currently they removed this QFirehose from their image not supporting anymore …

So people need to purchase external m.2 board to install modem on it and connect it to their laptop or PC to flash the modem

If there any image or anything you want me to test it i’m ready .

Note : I have External m.2 board and I know how to put my modem on Emergency mode … but I know a lot of people have BPI-R4 with 5G modems , they don’t have capability to purchase m.2 board

So BPI Team can add section on their steps for flashing modem by Frank system

more info:

So in a nutshell: use a debian (or archlinuxarm) image

Install:

sudo apt install build-essential git

Clone the repo and build the program on the R4 and then run it.

No idea how to do it , i’m Windows user

if you can do this or share image has QFirehose ready , I will appreciate this support .

Thank you my friend Mr. @ericwoud for your participation in this post
