Problem with Banana Pi Bpi-R4 Wifi Module

I have a problem with my Banana Pi Bpi-R4. I just installed the NIC-BE14 Wi-Fi module, but the transmit power is very low and only reaches a maximum of 7dB (5mW). However, the technical specifications indicate that it should be 23.5dB at 2.4GHz, 18dB at 5GHz, and 16dB at 6GHz. Ive tried different settings and regions, but I still only get a maximum of 7dB. I even tried other drivers, and its the same issue.

Currently, my Banana Pi Bpi-R4 is running version 24.10 rc7. Ive also tried rc5 and rc6 with the same results. Should I use the snapshot version or the Banana Pi MP4 release?

What do I need to install or configure so that it works correctly?

Is the snapshot version the same as the 24.10 rc# release?

Feel free to reply if you still need help

-When you say 7dB, do you mean 7dBm? dB is a relative difference, dBm is total power -Is 7dB transmit a limit of openwrt config, not hardware? -Have you configured outside of a UI? Just config in shell and set the txpower. Here is a good link: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wifi/basic

There are already multiple discussion regarding the limited max transmit power on this forum. But the best discussion seems to be here: wifi txpower value is very low · Issue #17489 · openwrt/openwrt · GitHub Feel free to chip in.
