Possibilities with BPI-W2 for audio and video capture

Hello,

I’m working on a small project and maybe I can use BPI-W2. I did a lot of research but couldn’t find any answers. If anyone can answer me, I’ll be happy.

  1. I saw that BPI-W2 has Realtek RTD1296 Intelligent voice, video processing platform. Is there a way to receive a video through HDMI IN and generate the audio instead of displaying it on the screen? I researched about API or some resource to make this functionality using a programming language but I didn’t find it.

  2. Would it be possible to capture video from HDMI IN using ffmpeg? In that case, is there a way to get the voice transcription?

For now these are the main doubts. Certainly others will emerge.
