Non-2280 M.2 SSD on BPI-R4?

Has anyone used a smaller drive on the board? Can the standoff be moved to the shorter position to secure a shorter drive?

I did this on the R3. The standoff of the R3 cannot be moved. I suspect R4 is the same.

As eric says the standoffs are fixed,but there are extender boards to archive this
