New calibration data for BE14 released by official

They just updated the docs and this might help:

It would be interesting how they load this file…i do not see it when looking in their openwrt 21.4 clone source.

Good morning @Stat_headcrabed@frank-w, what’s the purpose of replacing this file? Would you gain in noise reduction or power?

I don’t know what mt7996_eeprom_233_2i5i6i.bin is for.

I really don’t know anything about it.

It works for the two bananas we have, 4GB and 8GB.

I hope you help.

I think this file won’t help about noise, but might fix the power issue on some BE19 cards which due to wrong calibration info in eeprom.

Okay, great. I’m sure this will help a lot of people. I have two 4GB Bananas that I don’t have that problem with, the BE14000s. I also have an 8GB Banana, which I was hoping would be released with the new box, the BE19000s.

Since the BE14000s are currently available, I was afraid I’d run into one of those issues.

Thank you so much for your explanation.

At least it looks like the mainline driver will pickup this file (i guessed only the bpi image would do this)

But have not tried yet as i had to get wifi working again in 6.14+ last weekend.

Good evening @Frank W, thanks for your explanation. I hadn’t been able to connect before because we’ve been without power and internet in Spain all day.

Best regards.

the google drive link takes me to a different file: Eagle_MT7976C_MT7977iA_2i3i3i_6G_TSSI_OFF_TC_ON_Test_mode_20240116_V04.bin
