i came across this mtk-openwrt-feeds patch 25.12/files/target/linux/mediatek/patches-6.12/999-dts-mt7988a-rfb-20-arm64-dts-mediatek-add-npu-support.patch that introduces npu support for the RPI-R4(&PRO).
the feeds/kernel/mtk_npu provides the firmware support and acceleration features for tunnel traffic.
Has anyone tried it ? i wonder why mediatek never upstreamed it
