Hi guys, I assembled my first custom router I installed ROOTER and then OPENWRT on my BI-R4 I tried to run the model but it does not work. It is only recognized but it is not connected. Can you help? I am new to this matter

I purchased the model from Alibaba Is it possible that it is damaged or does it need some settings to work as desired?

The model was installed on the PCI B Key M port.2 The sim was added and identified, and the bulb lights up in blue But I do not see the green light on the model, and I do not find any temperature from the model. It is only recognized on the router page, but without anything else.

I would be grateful for the help because I am about to return the model, but it is not really damaged and we can continue

According to your log, your system can detect the Quectel RM551E-GL 5G module. But it can’t work. we never verify the Quectel RM551E-GL 5G module. we verified the Quectel RM520N-GL 5G module. I think that they should be similar. But Maybe your update the Quectel’s linux QMI driver, add the new moudle’s vender and device ID into the driver’s device list.
