Can 3D Models of new (and currently shipping) products be made available?

Hi.

I’m looking at some of the design posts, for example the initial R4 design topic

Looks a lot like fairly detailed 3d models are produced internally. Very nice!

Would it be possible for @sinovoip to publish STEP files?

Sincere apologies if those are already online – I looked, but found the board top/bottom DXF views.

Like - I believe - many others, I’m mainly after modelling cases, fixtures, and front/back panels. Even if not all detail can be made available – a design file including all external connectors would already be really helpful.

Personally, I’m currently waiting for an R4 Lite to arrive here. And thought I could already figure out how to fit it into my 19in rack in the meantime. :slight_smile:

I’m sorry, but we can only provide the corresponding specification documents for DXF and the plugins. We are unable to provide you with the 3D model.

Hey hyf. I think I get that.

So I went through the DXF and worked from the board outline. Then for the datasheets included for the Lite and original R4. I gradually found most of what I need.

Thanks for the quick response. Starting to look really good already.
