BPI-Wifi6 Mini source code public on github:
Hi.
I am trying to compile OpenWRT for supporting my Quectel 502Q-AE modem on my BPi mini 6.
When compiling from this distro, (GitHub - BPI-SINOVOIP/THG6500-TAX2-OPENWRT-BSP) There are no kmod-USB modules to select in make menuconfig?
I can find them in this distro (GitHub - BPI-SINOVOIP/THG6500-TAX2-mini-OPENWRT-BSP), but cannot get the compile to complete.
Can you help?
Thanks!
BPI mini wifi 6 BSP source code: GitHub - BPI-SINOVOIP/THG6500-TAX2-mini-OPENWRT-BSP
you can compile it on Ubuntu 18.04 X64 host computer environment. it can support Quectel 5G module.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I am using Ubuntu 18.04 X64 host for build environment and can build source from (https://github.com/openwrt) without any issues.
Building source from GitHub - BPI-SINOVOIP/THG6500-TAX2-mini-OPENWRT-BSP is not working.
Please advise.
Thanks!
For me compiling the THG6500-TAX-mini BSP finally worked (using Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS) after applying changes suggested in this Pull Request [on non mini]: gen_boot.sh: fix error "mv: cannot move 'TR6560-bootimage.bin' to '..… by NoSuchProcess · Pull Request #10 · BPI-SINOVOIP/THG6500-TAX2-OPENWRT-BSP · GitHub
I was finally able to get online using Quectel RM520GL
Thanks for the reply. I can confirm this works for me until I try adding Wireguard or OpenVPN. Either one results in an error looking for crypto/chacha-neon.ko
Any ideas on how to resolve?
is there any chance to activate mesh from kernel
