My banana router is acting very strangely on vanilla firmware 25. I initially installed it on 25.12.0-rc1, and the WiFi card worked, even delivering noticeably better speeds than 24.10.5 and .6. I gradually updated the firmware up to the release 25.12.0, and the card continued to work well (for BE14). Then, at one point, the router just started glitching. I’d come home, and the router’s Ethernet ports weren’t working—everything had completely disappeared. The PC wouldn’t even see a physical connection. I rebooted the router several times, and the same thing happened: the firmware loaded, but the ports didn’t work. And after updating the firmware to the same release 25.12.0, this problem started: the router was working, but all the BE14 radios were always disabled, and after a reboot, the ports also permanently disconnected. This has persisted until the latest firmware update. By the way, while I was using EMMC, I rebooted the router, and the ports also disappeared. So, it’s not an SD card issue. The motherboard revision is 1.1. But I would like to emphasize that on 24.10.x the board itself and BE14 work as stably as before, which clearly indicates a software problem.
What do you mean ports disappeared? Are you sure that the router is booted up correctly? Have you tried using it over TTY? I reckon you are hitting this bug (mtk-ccifreq cci: failed to add devfreq device: -517) on every failed boot attempt.
