This USB to TTL cable looks fine. By the way, the serial port cable for this board needs to be soldered with pins by yourself. It’s not included in the factory version.
No. By the main description on Website. If you’re using the Banana Pi R4 PRO version, you don’t even need a UART-USB cable. You can use a standard USB-C cable. The console port is at item 07 on the board picture.
I can confirm: for the BPI R4 Pro, just use a standard USB-C cable to connect to the PC and you get an extra comm to connect to the serial. Pretty handy.
Yes, I merely meant that this board can also be debugged using TTL. Of course, it would be even more convenient if there were Type C ports.
