Hello,
Just switched from immortalwrt snapshort to openwrt snapshort this week.
100% sure it can show cpu temperature on immortalwrt, no issues. But just found that no cpu temperature monitoring on openwrt snapshort.

Your post took my attention and I can add more confusion here
My BPI-R4 took its image from OpenWRT Firmware Selector and has CPU temperature monitoring.
I created a virtual build environment on my own hardware to work around delays in new version availability and to tinker with wifi drivers/firmware. All images created from my own build environment have no CPU temperature monitoring.
I assume this should not happen as the base configuration and packages of the OpenWRT firmware selector and build environment should match. Am I wrong?
Right, I did not try the images from both immortalwrt and openwrt firmware selector, just compiled my own versions from the source code.
My fault, i have added some packages and patches from “https://git01.mediatek.com/openwrt/feeds/mtk-openwrt-feeds”. Once I removed those patches, get cpu temperature back.
… did the same - thanks for your feedback here
