Hi, I used the SD card to boot the BPI-R4. I am wondering instead of pull out the sd card and burn in a newer OpenWRT image, is there anyway to directly upgrade the OS through sysupgrade?
You should tell us which openwrt you are using as vendor version and mainline are different in install/upgrade capabilities.
Afaik mainline openwrt can be upgraded, vendor image isn’t updated yet and already outdated. Please do not mix both versions.
So if you have already mainline openwrt installed sysupgrade should work.
