Are you running this with blank emmc ? As there is no way to load Linux with Android in eMMC.

Please share the right magicword needed for the boot.ini to be loaded in uboot.

Hi jhortwo , thanks for your sharing , it’s great .But I hope the kernel can use the newest as armbian. the way you show it’s still BPI 4.9 kernel , the reason I would like port the armbian because Armbian always update the kernel . I would like to use the armbian for server platform . so the GPU support doesn’t matter . I’m still study how to update the kernel of armbian to BPI-M5 . You know the major different between BPI-M5 and Ordroid c4 is the ddr , if they use the same ddr , I think we can use Armbian uboot to running under BPI-M5 all we need is to change the dtb configuration for IO , it can perfect running Armbian , but from Armbian build sdk , I don’t know how to change the ddr timing of uboot.

Hi mikechan, you are right, the Kernel is 4.9 I think that Sinovoip development team should tell us how to compile newer kernel versions, I asked to Sinovoip before for this but they just don’t give any answer.

Hi, I don’t touch C4 image at all. I just copy the system partition from C4 image to BPI-M5 image as you can see in the video.
