BPI-M5 connecting to Arduino - connection question -- SOLVED

Hi I’m trying to connect my Banana M5 to an Arduino (Leonardo) using USB cable. I installed the Arduino IDE on Linux Mate and loaded sample sketch, however I can’t upload it , I see only /dev/ttyS0 and /dev/ttyS1 in list of connections but none is working. Any idea how to activate the USB port so that I can push sketch to Arduino ? Arduino receives power from USB correctly. I did also add amlogic-wiringPi as described in wiki and I can see all GPIO correctly.

UPDATE - issue was faulty USB cable, when using a different cable, detection was immediate

regards
