Could you clear this boot partition before you upload the image ?
I want to learn something here .
Looking through all the garbage on the "boot " I must first analyze and look - what can I throw and what I have to leave .
It costs a lot of time - and for you is certainly not more than a minute.
Only this package is problematic since it overwrites the bootloader. They do not think a second and do not do even most basic testing. Just take others work (which is ok – open source), produce crap with it to create the impression they would be busy ‘developing software’
Hey, this is by intention! ‘Team BPi’ thinks it would be a great idea to provide OS images that can run on any of their Bananas after exchanging bootloader stuff (the bpi-bootsel crap). That’s the only reason why this partition is filled with junk.
Not a single of their customers needs this ‘feature’. They fulfil only their own needs and do not even think remotely about what their customers might need (at least one single working OS image and not countless crappy ones that are even self-destroying like in this case since famous ‘Team BPi’ simply doesn’t care and never test their stuff)
don’t be affraid that the WelcomeMSG ist “BananaPi M2+”
The right kernel is loaded:
Welcome to ARMBIAN Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) 3.4.39-BPI-M3-Kernel
