BPI-D1 WiFi AP mode not working

Hello,

I am not able to start WiFi AP mode. The power is ok at microUSB, but when USB-WiFi connected, it does not show any indication on WiFi dongle. No SSID can found while it is in AP mode. Can anyone guide, what could be the wrong?

Also someone can guide how to start serial communication using UART?

We have followed the same guideline, but the WiFi SSID did not appear on any device(PC or mobile).

You have to check your wifi card chip. Does it 8188?
