Boot on power-back without power button

Hello guys,

is there any way to configure the bpi-r2, that it boots in case of power failure and power comes back without any push at power button? I don’t need a backup battery, I can live with the rare situations of power failure. But it would be nice if I don’t need to be aside the board to switch it on again.

Thank you! Omg I saw this topic but it has a complete different starting question. So I saw no sense in reading 55 answers.

So it’s an electronic configuration. Pity, but it helps. :slight_smile:

There is another way as well. No need of soldering. You just to have to bring 5V voltage to the microUSB port of R2, as shown here: BPI-R2 boot / power suppy.
