BE14 not detected by Debian 12 image

Hello everyone,

Tried the OpenWRT MTK MP4.0 image from Banana Pi BPI-R4 | BananaPi Docs but luci was crashing / non responding after a few changes. So instead, i’m trying the Debian 12 image. BE14 does not get recognized. Does not show up in ip a. Any ideas? It’s connected, and sw4 turned on.

Which debian image have you used? Firmware seems to be old.

Sinovoip’s own image from here: Banana Pi BPI-R4 | BananaPi Docs

Now i notice there seems to be 3 types of firmware, WM, DSP and WA. I thougth there was only one type of firmware the one in /lib/firmware.
