Banana PI R4 Fails on Boot

I have had 2 Banana PI R4s sitting on my desk for about a month and finally cracked open the boxes yesterday. Got the first one up and running without issue with the latest snapshot of OpenWRT. Started working on the second one today… It booted into OpenWRT once and I was able to access LuCI to make some config changes. At that point, I rebooted and since then it hasn’t done anything.

I connected to the UART and it currently shows this:

NOTICE: BL2: v2.10.0 (release):OpenWrt v2024.01.17~bacca82a-3 (mt7988-sdmmc-comb)
NOTICE: BL2: Built : 16:38:32, Apr 13 2025
NOTICE: WDT: Cold boot
NOTICE: WDT: disabled
NOTICE: CPU: MT7988
NOTICE: EMI: Using DDR unknown settings
NOTICE: EMI: Detected DRAM size: 0 MB

I’ve tried pulling removing the BE14 and a new SD card, but I don’t get anything different.

Is this a hardware issue or is there something else I’m missing?
