I think there is something going wrong with JOOM… possibly for a long time!

The new R4 - 8GB version is only visible when I am not logged into my account (Germany)! After logging in, it is no longer visible.

Joom WAS a very good offer for me! But since the R4 (4GB variant) sold out (I believe more than a year ago), I asked them why I couldn’t buy it anymore. Joom said it’s a platform for sellers, and they are not responsible for what the sellers are offering.

By the way, if I remember right, the BE14 WiFi 7 module was and is not available on Joom.

PLEASE check your country settings for R4 :wink:.

Right now, I can buy many things from BPI on Joom, including the BPI-R3.

But not the R4…

If I do the R4 in the shopping card and I will get this after login:

Is there any other difference between the 4gb and 8gb version other than the RAM?

PCB Design is still V1.1

RAM is not from Samsung any more. For recognizing the RAM some resistors have been placed in onother way …

8GB kits are available now on Amazon, as previous purchase links didn’t work in US this is the first week we can order it.

However I don’t know yet if the kits are going to be updated to include the metal can on the Wi-Fi module. Any ETA on that availability?

But, who did relly need a 8GB Version? Looks for me, that some shops making good mony with the 8GB version …

Hi everybody,

I have just received a supposedly 8GB board from an ALI-Express vendor but upon boot it only shows 4GB using the 4GB image files. Using the 8GB images, it fails:

8G R4 seems to use this DDR, yours seems to be 4G.

I had been watching the BE14 on youyeetoo for quite a while because of the good price. :+1:

As I said:
