balenaOS and Banana Pi BPI-M5

Hey.

Today I tried getting my BPI-M5 to deploy on my Balena cloud (https://www.balena.io), but with no success. They do have support for the M1+ but I can’t get the M5 to boot.

I also tried a Generic AARCH64 image, but to no avail.

Did anyone successfully get the M5 to run as a Balena device? The prices and availability for comparable Raspberry Pis are simply unacceptable at this point… so it would be nice to have a powerful and relatively cheap alternative.

I actually did crosspost this to the Balena forums (link) but I thought maybe both forums have their own insights into this.
