I recently bought a Banana Pi BPI-R4 8G kit with a alu case and a BPI-R4-NIC-BE14 WiFi7 card/module (which is attached directly to the case with thermal pads), but a few days ago I found an offer for a new, taller case with a dedicated heatsink for the NIC-BE14 (but only the kit is available).
Is it possible to get just the new, taller version of the case with the heatsink for the NIC-BE14 separately? Will it be available?

Currently, they only sell this as a complete set, individual cases are not available for purchase. You can purchase a full set only (for now).
I did a walkaround myself for now using a big heatsinks top and bottom:
Which heatsinks are those? They look quite cool as they seem to have the right proportions. Also, secondary (for me), do they actually make any difference?
i tested something like that too, made 0 improvements, because the heat stays in the case. so i assume it does not matter how much cooling one applies on the outside…
The entire router is definitely cooler now , early on from the bottom it was very hot. – I have the WiFi7 NIC attached to the case from the bottom with stock thermal tape, so that must have had something to do with it. Previously, it was getting quite hot, but now it has a heatsink (somehow). Until a new, taller case officially goes on sale, this solution seems to be a good one. ( Or better than nothing. ) 
In my case search for: “Aluminum Heat-Sink 150 x 90 x 15MM” or similar.
