OS: BPI-M3 Ubuntu15.10 (Kernel3.4) Version: 1.0 HDMI


Step 1: Version V1.0 doesn’t include SPI Function. The boot.fex should be recompiled. Open SPI function ( https://github.com/BPI-SINOVOIP/BPI-M3-bsp/commit/62ff19944249b7a9efdee53f7760cb446c8984d9 ) Version V2.0 is going to support the spi-function by default.

Step 2: Download WiringPI

$ git clone https://github.com/BPI-SINOVOIP/BPI-WiringPi.git1 -b BPI_M3 $ cd BPI-WiringPi $ chmod +x ./build $ sudo ./build

Step 3 : Copy smaple code to OLED.c file

$ sudo vi OLED.c

Step 4 : Compile OLED.c

$ gcc -o OLED OLED.c -l wiringPi

Step 5: Run OLED

$ sudo ./OLED
