Banana PI using 4-lane MIPI interface to control a display

Hello,

I want the Banana Pi to interact with a hd display (with the ILI9881C driver) by using the MIPI DSI interface with 4 lanes.

So my first question: Is it possible to connect the Banana Pi with an display, which is not an explicit modul for the banana pi and use all 4 lines of the MIPI DSI interface?

2nd question: Would I have any advantages respective performing if I would use the Banana Pi M64?
