Powering BPI-P2 Pro with internal battery

Hello,

I’m using the BPI-P2 Pro for a compact device and would like to know if it’s possible to power it using an internal battery directly on the board (UPS-style), without using USB-C and without external cables.

From the documentation, I see:

  • Power is normally via PoE or USB-C
  • The 12-pin header exposes GPIO/interfaces, but I don’t see a clear 5V power input for the board

My question:

  • Is there any on-board pin/header/test point intended to power the board from a regulated 5V source (battery + UPS circuit)?

Thanks for your clarification.

By using a type C adapter that meets the 5V/2A specification, you can power the P2Pro.

Thank you for your replay. My goal is to power the board with on-board power without using external power (TYPE C).

OK, but this board does not have an onboard battery designed.
