Sorry, forgot to ask - does the image you kindly produced have wireless drivers for the BE14 module? I’ve got that also,

Please try without be14 for now,i use same config as 8x only added i2c,usband pci utils
A) OK, I’ll turn off the power switch. Or, do I need to physically remove it?
B) To eliminate the SD card flashing as an issue, could you possibly generate a sysupgrade image I could flash please?
Many thanks again.

Good afternoon @Dav1Dav , here’s a thread with the error you’re experiencing.
The best way is to use the images from @wozi ; this will almost never happen to you.
After finishing the deploy system for the standard BPI-R4, here is the same concept brought to the BPI-R4 Pro 8X.
What the deploy system covers:
SD card boot — flash a ready-made image, no Linux machine needed
NAND system install — fully functional permanent option, no disk required
eMMC install — permanent install to internal eMMC
NVMe install — full OpenWrt on NVMe SSD with dedicated data partition
UniFi Protect — camera management running in Docker on NVMe (G5 Flex tested, remote access wo…

Secondly, check out my reply and my homemade video. It solves the red light problem: turn off the board, when the menu appears count to two, then turn the board back on. As long as you don’t disconnect the power cable, it won’t happen again. Anyway, use the images from @wozi ; this hardly ever happens.
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.
Is this triggered by probability?
I hope this helps.

Seems there is a fixing patch for the crash…if i have it i can add to openwrt.
Hi all
I have two patch series for BPI-R4:
One adds RollBall SFP support for the BCM84891 which is currently the only 10Gbps low-ish power copper SFP+ (with a decent price).
The other fixes the a crash caused by the PCI reset on the mt7996, and possibly attempts a restart.
The patches work great, but they were developed with Anthropic’s Fable AI. They are also a bit bigger than what I feel comfortable verifying and validating myself. What would be the best way to share these for verificatio…
