Which does have drivers in linux, so I ordered (2) to try myself. So I do not know yet.

As for the 88e1111, you may have more luck googling for it and find a store that sells it.

Whoops yeah … not optical . Perhaps I should wait till I hear how you go with those AR8033 based modules. I’ve had a look for 88E1111 based adaptors but struggling to find something I know is coming from the EU.

I can not make work single-fiber module, SFP WDM 1000Base-BX, SC connector, working wavelength Tx/Rx: 1550/1310nm, range up to 3km (6dB), with support for DDM function. I tried 3 pcs. from several manufacturers and all with the same symptoms.
