Banana Pi BPI-R4 BPI-BE14 Wi-Fi7 NIC module

Yep antenna kit with pigtails :E clever .

you mean the antenna kit with wifi7 module?

for everyone not willing to search: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007223137654.html its a bit wierd because when clicking the link, only the antennas are shown for 12$, one has to select the wifi card too (for 66$), wondering why its not a “real” bundle containing everything for 78$

Yep , they started to preparing those , as i’ve i need three sets of those nice nics . But when they syart produceing this be19 module then i’ll but them for sure.

They’re out of stock! Any idea when some more will be available?

… yes, that’s really very disappointing. Especially as there was/is no way to order from Germany (and I assume generally from the EU) :-/

why is there no way to order from germany? aliexpress also ships to germany.

… in general you are right. Sellers can limit the areas where their goods could be purchased from. This has happened here (again).

If Germany is selected as country the goods should be delivered to - then the WiFi and antenna offer is completely hidden (product not found). If for example Ukraine is selected the products could be found and ordered (if a sufficient amount is available).

I’m from France and have made the purchase this morning (on the SinoVoip store https://aliexpress.com/item/1005007223308239.html).

Little tip you can be notified by email when there is a new message in this thread and thats how I was fast enough to order.

Ohh thanks for your investigation! … this product could at least be displayed but sadly not ordered to Germany :-/

From Austria here, I also managed to place an order, but mine is still to be shipped. Is yours already shipped by any chance?

No not yet but they don’t ship on weekends so it should be in the next days.

already shopped in china ,but no openwrt driver source code

Driver source code is opened, only firmware is not open.

i got informed that this should be in about 6 weeks

There is also the possibility to buy it over parcelup (if you are not in china):

https://parcelup.com/shop/item.php?id=808224556483#5493269497721

but … i wouldn’t buy it for this price …

@Lorem_amicus Thanks for the link! The price of 78 USD for the module sounds very reasonable. More “fascinating” is the workflow. You pay for the goods first and as soon as they arrived a packaging/transport fee will be added. There is no estimation made for that fee …

Nevertheless I tried that. Worst case scenario: I’ll ask my credit card operator for a refund if that fails or unreasonable costs are added in a later step.

Edit1: There is a estimated shipping cost calculator (I missed that at first) → https://parcelup.com/order/taobao-shipping-fees-calculator

what is the point if there is no stock on aliesxpress?

I have no info that official selling was started…maybe shops only prepare the selling, but have no cards yet

the first few were sold. next batch will be sold in 5-6 weeks.

Hello,

Thanks to Mr Dutton I have a bpi4 booting up Debian on the SD card, using a 6.10 rc5 upstream(ish) kernel that has my normal patch set in it (and self compiled). The same kernel works well on an Adtran AP with mtk7996 radios in it, but the BPI4 radio is only showing 2.4 and 6Ghz phys. Looks like someone reported similar problem earlier, but I didn’t see any answer. Any ideas on this?
