SSH connection over the USB OTG connection - how?

Hello again,

Does someone know how can a person enable & configure SSH/Ethernet connection over the USB OTG port of the board? Just like with some other development boards - Cubieboard , Olinuxino-A20-Lime2, etc. A step-by-step how to would really be the best.

Thank you, markov85

You need to patch the kernel first: http://igor2.repo.hu/tmp/opi_usb_gadget.txt

This is a well known problem that affects Allwinner’s BSP kernel for Banana Pi M3, M2+ and now M2 Ultra. But instead of fixing these guys here try to ignore it.

Hi charles,

Could you post steps on how to do this, for a complete noob ? I’ve already have an image - 2017-08-24-ubuntu-16.04-mate-desktop-beta-bpi-m2u-sd-emmc.img on a SD card. But I don’t know what to do next. Can you help?

Thanks, markov85
