Power button powers down without proper shutdown

Hi Forum,

I am trying to use acpi to let my BananaPi M2U shut down cleanly when the power button is pressed. But so far it seems the system gets powered down rather forcefully without really using acpi.

Does somebody have made the same observations? Or did I miss something?

I tried to change the acpi scripts for power button, but the changes are not working. The system just gets powered down regardless of what I do.

Do you find a way ?

Give a tutorial with acpi but not for bpi_M2U so I cant say if it safe.

Tested : works great (but very slow shutdown or maybe my system) !
