BPI-R1 new image: Archlinux 28-12-2017 4.6.5 sunxi mainline kernel

(Mateusz Kaczanowski) #1
  1. Kernel borrowed from armbian: BPI-R1 new image:Armbian_5.17_bpi-r1_Debian_jessie_4.6.5_desktop-build-by-bpi-r1.img

  2. Archlinux upgraded from official bpi image.

  3. The kernel issues related to kernel / userspace mismatch seem to be gone (such as systemd-sysctl input / output error etc).

What’s the root and alarm passwords?

(bpi team) #3

you can try bananapi or 1234

(Steve) #4

I tried both (via ssh) without luck

I don’t think I changed the password. It should be the same as in: BPI-R1 new image:Armbian_5.17_bpi-r1_Debian_jessie_4.6.5_desktop-build-by-bpi-r1.img

root/1234

does ssh allows root login (I doubt and likely that’s why you can’t login even with correct password). Can you try logging over serial?

It was root / bananapi and there isn’t an alarm user.

Thanks for putting this together!
