Banana Pi BPI-R2 how to modification automatically starts when Power on

1.Linux systems can be set to power up automatically without pressing the button on and off for 10 seconds

auto%20power%20on%201

  1. Production: PWRS this ESD5 on the side of the KEY position, posted 0 Ω / 0402 resistor

auto%20power%20on%202

  1. Android system: since Android has its own power management mode and requires the function of PWR KEY, the button cannot be short-circuited directly and can only be turned on by pressing 10 seconds

How? Afaik this is hardware.

Regarding android…what is the usage of ondroid on a router-board like r2?

more use use linux and openWRT ,but some one use it with android. so …

How can linux-systems override 10sec button press

You need to modify the hardware in the same way as 1 and 2

So its just a jumper shorting between those two points.

Thanks for confirming. But some linux kernel consider as a power of signal

It’s not linux kernel, mechanism is a little bit different here: power button press is treated by kernel as a “ACPI Power Button” event, this event is passed to the userland where it might be used by some power management/acpi daemon as a signal to shut down the system. It is perfectly possible to disable such daemons in userspace and have both jumper installed over the power button and run kernel supporting poweroff for R2.
